PHYSICAL THEATRE CLASSES/WORKSHOP
WHAT IS IT?
A workshop which gives a basic introduction to
physical theatre and the methods Rhiannon uses to create physical performance.
It also focuses on performance technique and confidence with working in groups as well as techniques
to create group cohesion and devising choreography.
HOW WILL IT WORK?
Rhiannon will guide participants through many physical exercises and provide an explanation of how they can be used to improve performance technique and develop movement sequences. Some of the exercises will also focus on
accessing different movement qualities and portraying emotions.
WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF IT?
A better awareness of your own body and ways to improve your physical performance technique.
Confidence of working in large groups which can be applied to auditions and/or performance.
Techniques to create movement sequences.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Rhiannon loves teaching for inclusive groups at an open level.
However, she can teach to more target groups.
It is particularly useful for actors and performers
but it can be a really fun way to for non-performers to explore working in a group.
Do get in touch if you would like to book Rhiannon for a workshop.
